A cell phone photo montage of the last day of the Philadelphia Flower Show 2008. The theme this year was "All That Jazz". Along with spectacular designs, there was some really good music going on at the show. Before leaving the exhibit, I made sure to purchase the Hoppin' John Orchestra CD. They brought the house down today with Jazz, Zydeco and R&B fused together - WOW!
This year, I decided not to lug the camera gear around - the lighting and the crowds make for a difficult situation to get great photos from the event. I just went around, soaked in the displays and shot a few photos with the cell phone camera - and this is the result:
Not bad for a cell phone camera - not bad at all. One does not leave the flower show empty handed, and I came home with no flowers, just herbs:
