Schroder, Folmer to Lead Capitol Rally in Opposition to Employee Free Choice Act
State, federal lawmakers and a statewide coalition of business and employee advocates aim to preserve secret ballot, halt union intimidation; media invited to participate in call-in with EFCA opponent Mitt Romney

WHAT: Rep. Curt Schroder (R-Chester) and Sen. Mike Folmer (R-48) will hold a rally concerning the detrimental impact the proposed federal Employee Free Choice Act (EFCA) will have on employee rights and businesses. The bill would take away a worker’s right to a secret ballot when unionizing and subject employers to binding contract arbitration. There will be a pre-rally, statewide media conference call with former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, Rep.Schroder and Sen.Folmer at 9:30 a.m. in the Capitol Media Center.
