Not quite towing the Obama party line of 'modest disagreements' between Republican and Democrat senators, Senator Ben Nelson reveals to Fox News:
"he wants to strip "tens of billions" of dollars from the economic stimulus proposal, rejecting the White House claim that senators are complaining about just a tiny fraction of the package. "
He continues to note that both Republican and Democrats have expressed the wish to gut the bill of items that are not going to jump start our economy. How about standing together to ditch the entire bill? Now that would be a good example of bipartisan leadership that actually benefits average Joes (and Sarah's).
